Meet Agata from Argentina! She is a 26-year-old caregiver with over 2,800 hours of childcare experience with kids of all ages. In her role as a babysitter, nanny, and youth group assistant she gained valuable skills, all necessary to promote child development. She considers herself a person with initiative and loves to engage children in creative activities like painting and reading. She also makes sure that tasks like feeding, bathing, and dressing are always completed when needed. Her first language is Spanish, and she has also studied English for 5 years. Her driver’s license was issued in April of 2015, and she would like to drive during her au pair year. She is also First Aid Certified and has her Water Safety Certification. Agata loves to play different kinds of team sports like hockey and soccer. She also enjoys riding her bike, rollerblading, and hiking. In her free time, she likes to dance, make bracelets, and listen to music. She is looking forward to becoming an au pair because she loves working with children and believes she can learn a lot from them. She is also excited to learn about a new culture, while sharing her Argentinian culture with her host family.
